ISE, or Integrated Systems Europe was bigger than ever this year. With over 1600 exhibitors, more than 90000m² of exhibition space and more than 85000 unique verified visitors from over 160 countries, the exhibition confirms once again that it is the largest trade show serving the AV Industry.
As in previous years Redot travelled to the Barcelona Fira, to show some of its products to customers from around the globe.
Both Redot's RC-oL3.9 and RC-M6.9 were prominently present on the booth of AED Group and a smaller RC-oL3.9 screen was shown in the booth of Youxi. Both products are typical rental products in Carbon panels, and many visitors were impressed with light weight, but also with the high level image quality thanks to the use of premium LED lamps and high end components. RC-oL3.9 is an outdoor product with solid modules whilst RC-M6.9 is a typical outdoor mesh type product.

In the Colorlight booth, Redot again had the honour of showing an own product. It was the touring system that can be used with various Redot Carbon panels. The touring system consists of a touring frame, attachable wind bracing, hanging and stacking accessories for touring , and a typical metal dolly that can hold up to 15 panels or 7.5m² in one dolly. The touring system is extreme heavy duty and allows for straight and curved configurations.
Besides our traditional products, we also were chosen this year to cooperate with two famous companies in the display industry to develop innovative products at forefront of technical evolution!
Harvatek, a long standing and famous brand from Taiwan in the electronics and led packaging industry, chose Redot to develop an ultra-lightweight panel for their Obsidian line of products. These products use either COB or MIP technology, whereby Harvatek has developed an own proprietary top coating technology that results in a very deep black top layer that still that preserves the protrusion of the led package to further enhance contrast. At the same time however a high brightness level is achieved, resulting in a different level of image quality for these products. This time Harvatek demonstrated a typical rental panel in 1.5mm pitch with MIP modules in 250mmX250mm. Redot takes pride in this successful cooperation with Harvatek.
Nexnovo, a most renowned specialist manufacturer of transparent displays and embedded glass displays, worked with Redot on the creation of a carbon ultra-lightweight panel for an innovative new type of rental panel using Nexnovo’s own mini mesh COB technology. The result is a unique, innovative and record beating new rental product with an extreme light weight for a product that is truly multifunction and can be used outdoors without any restrictions. The prototype presented in 4.6mm pitch has a weight of 3.7Kgs for a panel of 1000mmX500mm. In other words that is a total weight of 7.4Kgs /m² ! It was amazing to hold that panel in one hand with ease. The rental business showed great interest in the further development of that product. We thank Nexnovo for the confidence they have in Redot and we look forward to further improve that product for market introduction.
